More than 2,000 shoppers per week come to enjoy local, seasonal and sustainable certified organic farm fresh produce as well as fresh flowers, live music, pastries and desserts, and hand-crafted and artesian merchandise. New vendors are always lined up and bring a variety of nuts, fresh fruits — oranges, apples, grapes, lemons, limes, avocados; and vegetables — lettuce, tomatoes, celery, garlic, tomatillos, potatoes, onions. Visitors are encouraged to ask the produce vendors about their production and harvest practices as they are well versed in their field and are eager to share their practices with the public or, request a personalized market tour.
