Na Hoku Mae Kanoelani will celebrate the culture, dance, music and history of Polynesia at its 7th annual Spring Ho'ike at Atherton Auditorium, San Joaquin Delta College, Stockton.
Directed by George and Susan Pedregosa, dancers will grace the stage with a spectacular show of traditional and modern Polynesian dances and chants celebrating Hawai'i and Tahiti.

The show begins at 5:00 p.m.

Na Hoku Mai Kanoelani has been performing since 2000 in a variety of venues, including the Asparagus Festival, Earth Day, luaus, parties and celebrations. The award-winning troupe has competed successfully at Heiva i Reno, and San Jose and Merced Tahiti Fetes, winning group and solo competitions.

The 2010 show promises new costumes, music, choreography and a variety of dances from the Pacific Rim.

Tickets for the Spring Ho'ike at $15 in advance and $20 at the door. They can be purchased from the San Joaquin Delta College Box Office or from Na Hoku Mai Kanoelani (209.547.1794).
