Join the movement, and take the pledge to bike or walk to work just one day during the week of May 13th-17th! Not only could you win great prizes, but you can feel good about choosing a healthy commute, saving money, and doing your part to improve air quality and traffic congestion. Contests, prizes, group rides and rallies will be held throughout San Joaquin, Stanislaus and Merced Counties. Don't forget to come out for the official Stockton's Bike to Work Day  on May 15th!  Join your fellow cyclists at Janet Leigh Plaza in downtown Stockton. Select routes will be guided by cyclists from REI and the San Joaquin Bicycle Coalition at 5 different starting locations within Stockton (see the map to find the nearest starting location to you!  ). Upon arriving, you'll be rewarded with snacks and goodies as a thank you for your participation. Enjoy some coffee, visit with the vendors, and celebrate your healthy commute!

It's easy to participate.

1. Fill out the pledge form , and promise to ride or walk to work at least one day between May 13th and 17th, 2013.

2. Get out there and ride! (or walk!) Visit a local event for free giveaways, prizes and a chance to meet other cyclists.
