Learn about the history and symbolism of Chinese brush painting. Clemmie King from the Stockton Art League will demonstrate and kids will learn how to hold the brush and use ink. They'll make cards and bookmarks to take home.
This Art Adventures workshop is designed for a group of up to 25 children ages 5-11. Reserve a space by contacting Curator of Education, Lisa Cooperman at (209) 940-6315 or education@hagginmuseum.org. Remaining seats will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. All project materials will be supplied by the museum. Workshop is included with regular museum admission. $5.00 for adults; $2.50 for seniors, youth 10-17, and students with ID; FREE for museum members and children under 10.
