The fifth annual Balloon Festival will be from 6 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at Ripon Sports Park, East River Road.

Festivities include:

» Hot air balloons inflation and launch: 6:30 to 7:30 a.m.

» Pancake breakfast: 6 to 11 a.m.; $8

» Demonstrations and live entertainment

» Tri-tip lunch: 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., $10

» Arts and crafts

» Vendor booths

» Running: 1 mile, 5K and Children's Fun Run on Saturday.

Admission is free, but there is a $5 fee for parking. Proceeds will benefit the Children's Hospital of Central California.
