DESCRIPTION:

It’s the perfect time to celebrate the beauty and complexity of the landscape of the San Francisco Bay, with 2012 marking the 75th anniversary of the Golden Gate Bridge. Although the bridge may be one of the most well known icons of the Bay, there are a multitude of additional locations that evoke this unique region. In the Knowlton Gallery’s newest exhibition, DOWN BY THE BAY, each artist has interpreted his or her favorite Bay Area scenes; from the waters of the Pacific to cityscapes.
