Your contribution of $50 per person will go towards scholarships to students attending college. SUPPORTING A STUDENT’S EDUCATION IS A REWARDING WAY TO PLAY A KEY ROLE IN THE ADVANCEMENT OF OUR YOUTH. Announcing the 4th Annual Coalition For Higher Learning, Inc. Fundraiser “JEANS BLING JAZZ NITE”. The event will take place on Saturday, November 20, 2010 from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. at Brookside Country Club. Make a difference in someone’s education by coming out and having a fun night, listening to local jazz groups, enter contest and enjoy great raffles and prizes. Your contribution of $50 per person will go towards scholarships to students attending college and to assist in enhancing the skills and knowledge of students and parents preparing for college by providing workshops and supporting ongoing educational activities.
 
The Coalition for Higher Learning, Inc. is a non-profit organization focused on the following core areas:
• Meeting with teens and their parents, one-on-one and in group settings to discuss college options and goals.
• Counsel students and parents on college preparatory courses.
• Provide financial aid workshops.
• Provide life skill workshops.
• Award scholarships to eligible college or university bound applicants.
• Partner with and support local community organizations to provide outreach programs.
