During the competition students will be tested on their trivia knowledge of African American history and the magnificent contributions that African Americans and people of African descent have given to our society, and to the world. The last student standing will receive a basket filled with gift certificates, cash prizes, a Black History t-shirt, a Black History Bee Plaque and much, much more. There will also be two runner-up prize winners. Learning about African American history provides us with a sense of knowledge, culture, pride, and inspiration that allows us to truly reach our potential.[This event is closed to the public]
