The Stockton Ports, 11-time champions of the California League, are excited to announce that they will celebrate and recognize Dallas Braden for his recent perfect game, on May 22 and 23.
The Ports are joining City of Stockton officials to honor Braden and display their pride in their Oakland A's pitcher who grew up in Stockton.

The Stockton Ports are proud to welcome Braden to their 7:05 p.m. game on Saturday, May 22. Braden will be honored in an on-field ceremony. In addition to recognition by the Stockton Ports, Mayor Ann Johnston will present Braden with a key to the city and a proclamation.
The Greater Stockton Chamber of Commerce will also present Braden with the Chamber's newly published table top book about Stockton with a personal inscription and with a Lifetime Honorary Membership in the Chamber.

The Ports will continue the weekend by giving the first 1,000 fans into the 2:05 p.m. game on Sunday, May 23 with a commemorative Dallas Braden Perfect Game poster.

The Stockton Ports' celebration will follow a week-long celebration of Braden's accomplishment by the Oakland A's.

Braden threw the 19th perfect game in Major League Baseball history, and second in Oakland A's history, on Mother's Day, May 9, at Oakland against the Tampa Bay Rays.
