Community Center for the Blind and Visually Impaired
presents our 2012 Summer Youth Camp for visually impaired youth (ages 12-18) on June 11-15! Registration is free and transportation is provided by CCBVI; camp runs 9:30AM-4:00PM daily. Campers can learn new skills, meet new friends and take trips to local parks and interesting sites in nearby cities.
In previous years, we have traveled to the State Capitol, Monterey Bay Aquarium, Discovery Museum in San Jose and taken a train/ferry trip to San Francisco. We are planning another great trip this year!
Locally, we have gone bowling, visited the Haggin Museum and State Fair, played beep baseball and done crafts, cooking & computers at the blind center.
