San Joaquin County Parks and Recreation and the Delta Fly Fishers welcome anglers to Oak Grove Regional Park for the 28th Annual Trout Bout.  The tournament is sponsored by
Duraflame.

Approximately 2,700 lbs. of Rainbow trout, including trophy-size, will be planted for the tournament. Kids 15 years of age and under fish free; however, a $5 fishing permit fee and valid CA. fishing license are required for those sixteen (16) years of age or over. A $6 vehicle-parking fee will also apply. All State Fish and Game laws apply. Participants must supply their own fishing equipment.  There will be both Youth Adult competitions. There will be a five trout limit!

Prizes will be awarded in all categories and participation is limited to one (1) type of competition. Park gates will be open at 6:15 a.m., registration closes at 10 a.m. and the last weigh-in is at 12:30 p.m. Prizes will be awarded shortly thereafter.
