Thursday Night College Night Returns to Downtown Stockton, March 18 through May 6, 2010.

Downtown bars and restaurants that join College Night 2010 will offer appetizer and drink specials for attendees with valid student ID.

Plans are in place to provide safe trolley transportation from Burns Tower at University of the Pacific to Downtown Stockton outside Bradley’s on Hunter Street and will include a stop at Banner Island Ballpark when a baseball game is taking place. College Night is organized by interns from Dr. Schamber’s COMM 151 Community Learning Course at University of the Pacific.

Held from 8 pm until last call on Thursday evenings, activities will include live musical and comedy entertainment.

March 18: Mad Hatter Night: In the spirit of Tim Burton’s adaptation of Alice in Wonderland, come dressed as your favorite character. Whether you chose to sport Alice attire, The Mad Hatter’s
oversize hat or the Chesschire cat’s signature smile, enter yourself in the costume contest for a grand prize and enjoy the trip no matter what.

March 25: Guitar Hero Night: Come show off you skills on the world’s most popular game! Come battle with other players to find out who the real Guitar Hero is.

April 1: Beer Pong: Think outside the cup and bounce your ball out for your favorite drinking game.
Instead of your typical house party scene grab your partner and battle it out on Beer Pong College Night.

April 8: Baseball Warm-Up: Grab a game piece and play a liquid game of baseball to warm up for the season.
Score runs by visiting all participating venues and by answering Ports Baseball Trivia. What you do on seventh inning stretch is up to you!

April 15: Ports Baseball Game: Enjoy the first Thursday home game of the season and a Thirsty Thursday at Banner Island Ballpark. After the game, head over to the downtown entertainment
district for specials and live entertainment.

April 22: Asparagus Festival Pre-Party: Win tickets and festival garb, and enjoy Asparagus drinks and food specials the night before Asparagus Festival.

April 29: Ports Baseball Game: Enjoy a Thursday home game and a Thirsty Thursday at Banner Island Ballpark. After the game, head over to the downtown entertainment
district for specials and live entertainment.

May 6: Live Music and Comedy: Share a laugh and have a drink while rocking out to some local Stockton bands and comedy by Pacific Professor Dr. Alan Ray
