It is our hope that Wine In2 Water becomes the quintessential fund raising event that unites not just the Lodi wineries but, the local food establishments, businesses and artists. Our purpose is to just not raise money for this worthy cause but, to remind all of us that even our smallest gift has the potential of saving lives and easing human suffering worldwide.
Wine In 2 Water recognizes that there are frequent requests from everybody wanting donations of wine and service for good causes but, clean water for children is the most essential basic need of all. According to the World Health Organization a child dies every 20 seconds from water related illness. This is more than AIDS/HIV, Malaria, TB and cancer combined.
Lodi can also become a leader in generosity, as many of you already are. Let’s promote Lodi as not just a great wine and visitor destination but, as a community that works together to help others around the world.
