It's National Grandparents Day September 12th. Celebrate as you tour the National Register of Historic Places and California Landmark 22-room home (1863-1882) of Dean Jewett Locke, Gold Rush doctor and founder of the village of Lockeford.Enjoy a Traditional High Tea: three generous courses of Savory sandwiches, Scones with Devonshire cream and fruit preserves or lemon curd,Delicate Dessert Confections and pots of Tea. Menu features the bounty and freshness of the valley harvest - All house-made!Sunday September 12th event is 2:30-4:30 pm. Reservations required. Please reserve at least three days prior.
