If nature is your game, then a visit to Lodi would not be complete without a stop at Lodi Lake.  Swim at the beach, walk along our 1.5 mile hiking trail or tour the Mokelumne River by boat.  And if you have the children, you won’t want to miss the zoo, historical museum and serpentarium.

The Clements and Lockeford area is a warm and friendly combination of old and new neighborhoods, farms and ranches in a pleasant country setting. Delta breezes cool the summer nights while the crickets sing you to sleep. Snow capped Sierras can be seen in the distance above vineyards and orchards which surround our area. The growing communities of Clements and Lockeford have many diversified stores, shops and services to serve your needs. While in Clements, be sure to visit the Chocoholics Chocolate factory!  Friendly, personal service is available to all!

We hope you take time to appreciate this friendly and prosperous town. It is located at the junction of railways and highways headed west to San Francisco. It’s an ideal bedroom community for many commuters.

And if you’re nearby in August-hooray! You can visit Tracy’s annual California Dry Bean Festival. It’s a 2-day, fun-filled celebration held in downtown Tracy. Crowds gather to celebrate and watch great entertainment, a chili cook-off, a Jalapeno Eating Contest, a Spam Cooking Contest. Of course there are plenty of cool drinks, good food.  With Tracy’s fertile soil, it not only harvests beans but also alfalfa, asparagus, fruits and other crops that help make San Joaquin County one of the riches agricultural place in the country. Just taste the fresh produce at the Farmers Market on Wednesday in Downtown Tracy. Tracy is located 20 miles southwest of Stockton on Interstate 205 off of Interstate 5.

Down in the valley, the southeast corner to be exact, you’ll come upon Escalon, a quaint little town that sells antiques and the freshest product this side of your own garden. Built in 1894 on the San Joaquin Valley railroad line, the name Escalon originated from the Spanish word for “steps.” Today, visitors come from miles around to enjoy the Park Fete Festival in July, a carnival food fair and all-around good time. Escalon is approximately 25 miles southeast of Stockton taking 99 south to 120 east.

Sometimes big things come in small packages. Lathrop is no exception. Lathrop also offers residents a mix of residential, agricultural and industrial opportunities, as well as access to Delta recreation by way of the San Joaquin River. Lathrop is just 5 miles south of Stockton on Interstate 5.

You’ll be nuts about the beautiful town of Ripon, the community known for its Almond Blossom Festival. The festival draws an international attendance to enjoy the parade, arts and crafts, a tractor pull, 8k and 1 mile runs, and much more.

A community noted for its “Quality of Life” and low crime rate, Ripon has an abundance of parks and open areas. The nearby Stanislaus River offers many recreational opportunities, which, along with a variety of cultural activities, convinces people it is a most desirable town in which to visit and a wonderful place to reside. Ripon is 20 miles south of Stockton on Highway 99, one mile east of Caswell Memorial State Park.
