The new and improved San Joaquin County Fair located at the San Joaquin County Fairground, opens their gates to visitors from across the county from June 13 - 16, 2019. While the Fair is only in town for a few days out of the year, in that short time, there’s a ton of fun to be had!

New this year, the Fair will offer a County Fair Kitchen experience in Building #3 at the fairgrounds, highlighting local restaurants, food trucks, and well-known foodie pop ups by new and upcoming chefs. You will enjoy a variety of food in a comfortable, cool environment at the fairgrounds.
Celebrating the county’s diverse culture, the Fair offers nightly musical concerts, featuring emerging regional talent, along with intriguing exhibitions during the day. The Fair also features a Community Stage, Main Stage, Grandstands, and a Homegrown Stage.

It is not a county fair without a full carnival experience! Children and adults alike will find a welcoming assortment of rides that will have them screaming with joy throughout the evening!
The Midway has expanded its attractions from years past to include heart-pounding thrill-rides to gentle, kid-friendly rides, new carnival games, and of course, the giant Ferris wheel, which offers a great vantage point to see all the activity at the San Joaquin County Fair. For many, this is the best part of the Fair experience.
Even if you fear heights, the Midway is a great place to sit back and people watch, too. Presale tickets are available online or can to be purchased at the dedicated ticket booth located at the entrance of the fair.
The San Joaquin County Fair will showcase an abundance of fine art as well as floral and horticulture from talented community members across the San Joaquin County region.
Fair-goers can contemplate on a rich selection of modern and contemporary artworks by locals inside an air-conditioned building found next to the northwest entrance of the Fair. From fine arts and sculptures to Stockton photography, handmade quilts, and even wearable art are on display at the Fair!

Fair-goers love the milk barn, where they can watch cows being milked and learn about the county’s dairy industry, and then be sure and stop by the San Joaquin AgFest happening within the San Joaquin County Fair. This annual event treats attendees to farm animal-related experiences, animal costume contests, hay bucking competitions, and traditional livestock auctions between June 11-15, 2019.
No entry or reentry after 9PM. The Fair stays open for approximately 2 hour after the gates close for the night.
