This restaurant is a must try in the city of Stockton California. I went here to try the clam chowder which is said to be the best in the area so I had to try it for myself. I thoroughly enjoyed the clam chowder there as well as the drinks from the bar which were top shelf. I also ordered the Philly steak Sandwich with fries and it was more than enough to feed 2 people if I had which to share. The place is very quaint and charming and the service was excellent. The cost for the meal was very reasonably priced especially considering the high caliber of the quality of food that was served. The only negative things I found during my visit was that the small menu card on the table was dirty and covered in a bit of food which was a little bit of a turn off. Also the straws they use for the drinks are too short for their glasses. I highly recommend you try this restaurant. You will not be sorry you did.

Super wonderful food here. Very nice eating areas inside or outside on the patio with a fireplace. Fruitsalads and salads all were very fresh. The blueberry muffins were the best ever! Buds Beef is sooo amazing too. Server could've smiled a few times, but maybe she was having a not so good morning. Can't wait to go back and get like 10 plates of beef!!! Louie Combo was fantastic. Super easy free parking and wheelchair accessible place🙂

We love going to Buds when we're in Stockton. The appetizer medallions are to die for. I live near the coast and have never found a restaurant that is as generous with crab and shrimp on their Louie as Buds is! Never been disappointed!

We ordered Pasta Monterey special and Shrimp Scampi. Pasta Monterey came with clam chowder. It was very tasty, service was good, and atmosphere was nice. Every table had live flowers.

From the moment we walked into Buds Seafood Grill, we were impressed with the cozy ambiance and warm service. The staff was welcoming and attentive throughout our dining experience, which made us feel right at home. As for the food, everything we tried was simply fantastic. I myself had the Friday Special Cioppino & house New England clam chowder, and I must say, it was one of the most delicious seafood dishes I've ever tasted. The flavors were bold and rich, and the seafood was cooked to perfection. The clam chowder was also outstanding and creamy, making for a perfect appetizer. My lady ordered the Chicken Alfredo with a Cesar side salad, and it was equally impressive. The pasta was perfectly cooked and smothered in a flavorful Alfredo sauce, while the salad was crisp and fresh. Our kids were also delighted with their meals. They ordered the Bacon Beef burger with cheese and fries, which was huge and flavorful. They also tried the kids popcorn shrimp and fries, which they both absolutely loved. The portions at Buds Seafood Grill are huge, and the flavor is amazing. The food reminds you of an authentic fisherman’s feast meal, which adds to the overall dining experience. Overall, Buds Seafood Grill is a must-visit spot for anyone who loves seafood and enjoys a warm and inviting dining experience. I highly recommend this restaurant and can't wait to go back and try more of their delicious dishes.

Went here to satisfy my oyster cravings. They were ok definitely sweet but I like mines a little more briny. Steak was good not great. The Alfredo was ok and Bloody Mary was ok. Definitely will be going back on for happy hour oysters
