Stockton local Alicia Gonzales wanted to create a business that she could pass down to her children. This hard working mother of two has done just that. Hitting the grind with her new mobile coffee truck, Downtown Stockton is all the rage for her coffee, smoothies and snacks. She blends up not only the usual lattes, mochas and cold brews, but adds a personal twist to her creations. The signature drink list is original, authentic and fun. Try a La Rosa Frapp with espresso, chocolate peanut butter and milk blended to perfection and topped with whip cream, a caramel drizzle and crumbled mazapan peanut confection. Do you love a Mexican mocha? Try the Grinding Grounds' Abuelita Latte. This espresso drink has milk, Mexican style hot chocolate and is topped with a whole cinnamon stick. Not a coffee drinker, that's ok, they also serve tea, lemonade, Italian sodas, smoothies and hand crafted energy drinks.
