A local business with a great service and food. We went in early in the day, as it can get busy in the evening, and had the place to ourselves for a little bit. Our server was quick and attentive. The food the food is great when paired with a margarita.
We had our company Christmas party here, and their banquest hall is beautiful, but it felt a bit small. I was wrong. It was able to hold all 40 of us comfortably. Service from the waiters and bartender was first class service. Some of the best Margaritas. The food was okay. But the drinks and service ultimately were what got them the 5 star rating.
My husband and I go to new places and try to find good Mexican food. Palmas surprised us! We are from the Bay Area and loved the salsa, service and green sauce! We definitely will return!
Parking is a little challenging, but that is expected along the Miracle Mile. The restaurant sat us immediately and brought drinks and food quickly enough. The servers were almost overly attentive. The food compared with some of our favorites from across town but was priced better. The atmosphere was not exceptional, nor was it off-putting in any way.
The food was very very good very very hot it took 20min for it to cool down. Was worth the wait. Got the Maljete I think that's how you spell it with shrimp. My clay cup broke and leaked all over the place but the bar tender hooked me up with a brand new drink with and I swear that guy added double the amount of tequila to my drink very nice will be back to get the móle.
The burrito I got was pretty dry, I expected cheese or sauce at least, but it was just meat and rice and it wasn't really wrapped that well, it was busted open on the side when I got it, then the power went out so we couldn't get soda refills but that's not really anyone's fault. Not really the best experience I've had at a restaurant sadly. Waiting staff was nice though.
Great service! Bartender was great and so was the waiting staff. Saul our waiter was fast, professional and personable! Amazing authentic food. There was 4 of us and we all had different dinners, in which all of us were impressed. Their tamales ate phenomenal and their homemade gravy is AMAZING! Highly recommend this place. We will eat here again! Didn’t get many photos as the food tasted so good.
Testing out mexican restaurants to find a new spot. I test out several things before trying down the menu. Chips and salsa, flour chips, horchata, chicken tacos, chicken enchiladas, and a chile relleno. This spot is a miss. The chips were mass store bought chips- flavorless and boring. The salsa was decent - juicy a tiny bit of heat but needed more flavor. Flour chips were a bit undercooked but tasted alright after adding salt. The horchata is homemade but watered down too much not too sweet perfect for kiddos. Chicken taco was a hot mess. It was very greasy a nice amount of chicken but so dry and found enchilada sauce inside with lettuce. Wierd. The chile relleno was like eating a soggy sponge with a tiny chile hiding inside there. The chicken enchiladas were the best out of everything we ordered along with the flour tortillas.
