Not what is used to be. Don't know why they changed the fries to prefab fries instead of the killer homemade fries they used to do before changing owners. Burger was good though. Idk if I'll be back, not the same. Why buy a successful business and just change things for the worse?
I used to go Manny’s for many years starting college days, the food was excellent. When I check google maps I found that the Resturant still there after more than 33 years but it has the same look and the old furniture. I think it’s time to renovate but keep the same menu.
The recent change of fry distributor choice is very unfortunate. Instead of whole potatoes cut into shape and then fried the new fries are now more similar to a&w mashed and shaped fries with a crust. One of the biggest reasons I returned was due to how delicious their classic fries were alongside their burgers.
Food has Always Been good. Since Owner passed food is still good .. But when he was alive chicken was jus marinated in alot of Garlic. It's still better than any other fast food chain. Pick anything off the menu and you won't be disappointed! I love it😊
😃 Manny's Has fresh, delicious foods, including vegetarian sandwiches. 1 star deducted from the 5 due to (usually) no sugar-free drinks. Easy to fix, but they haven't for years. Cute, cozy interior with a large garden window. Very nice. Enjoy a meal with family and friends!
Our favorites are the Fried Oysters & French Fries with Lemon & Tabasco Sauce, Cream Sodas, & Fresh Squeezed Lemonade. The Monterey Jack Tuna sandwich is another favorite & the Fried Chicken with potato wedges. I wish they bring back their Steak Sandwich on Genova Rolls.
Been dining at Manny's California Fresh on the Miracle Mile since the 70s, one of my all time favorites. Would frequently stop there after catching a movie at the Royal back in the day. The only reason I gave 4 stars is they discontinued the rotisserie chicken which was awesome. It came with a side of garlic bread, fries, and 🌽 corn on the cobb. But their Manny Burgers are awesome, you don't get cheated on the meat patties and their fried chicken is really good too. They are reasonably priced and offer either open table or booth seating with a mix of old and new music playing on the speakers as you enjoy your food. And don't forget the Manny Sauce for your fries!
The last time I ate at Manny's was right before the pandemic. I had the chicken sandwich, fries, onion rings and a pineapple shake! Two days later I went back for the same🤘🏻then the unthinkable happened and I was diagnosed with a muscle disease and all my eating habits changed overnight.. The wait was long but definitely worth it. The staff all worked together as a unit so you can imagine my disappointment when I started to read all the negative reviews and how there is a new owner now. Looks like I'll have to judge it for myself since Im doing a lot better now... (Please don't change that chicken sandwich recipe! The breaded chicken bedded down in that soft but crunchy Parisian roll is the best I've ever had and trust me I've had them all over the state) Good luck to the new owner, you have some big shoes to fill🙏🏻
just discovered a hidden Gem in Stockton! This place is absolutely amazing. I recommend the fish and chips But be sure they put a fork in your bag :-( no worries I will definitely be back. Why this hasn't been advertised on television, I have no idea. You guys are awesome!
Today is National Cheeseburger Day, so hubby and I had to go to Manny's for a cheeseburger. He had the Manny Burger and I had the Old Time with cheese. Delicious! It's been a while since I'd been here, and it did not disappoint. Thanks for a great dinner!
Food is good! Shakes are good! Everything is good EXCEPT calling in to place your order. The phone rings & rings & rings, then someone picks it up & hangs it up...everytime! So aggravating!
My mom and I come in every other week for cheeseburgers and fries with their special sauce. A Stockton tradition. My only regret is that they dont do the rotisserie chicken any longer.
I’ve been eating here since I was a kid and growing up in Stockton and they had 3 locations. Absolutely love this place. I now live in Elk Grove (near Sacramento)and still make an effort to travel for my favorite chicken, Portuguese beans and broasted potato wedges!! I eat one meal there and order one meal to take home!
Been here a few times now and I gotta they are some of the best burgers I've had. The Manny burger is delicious and plenty sized. My wife loves the Avacado burger. They don't have any kids menu items but the regular sized burgers are good enough. The thousand island dressing in the burger is also a personal favorite of mine. Price is good for the size of the burgers and the quality of the meat.
I enjoyed my chicken sandwich so much, it had been a very long time since i had eaten there that i went again two days later. Lip smacking, finger licking delicious!
What can be said of Manny’s. A true Stockton icon. Excellent chicken! Try the carmel with jack cheese. Please bring back the BBQ beef. The food is always great but over the past several years the quality of the order takers and workers has gone way down. If your looking to receive a smile and friendly server you’re not gonna find it here. Well maybe occasionally. If you’re looking for tasty quality food at a great price then you will find that!
I really loved their food. I always get awesome customer service here. The place is well organised and the cashiers are always very welcoming. I highly recommend this place.
Really good food, everything made fresh and the meat Patty's is pretty good but could use a little more salt. The ranch is homemade so it's really delicious. The lemonade isn't from a box so I like the sweet and sourness of the real lemons. I recomend the old timer or the avocado sandwich!
Food was good, but the bread was bigger than the burger. My first 2 bites were avocado and bread. Fries were crispy and they had that Peter piper pizza ranch..yummy. bacon to add on was over $3.00. I might go back it's important to support businesses during these times.
I love the chicken sandwiches and their milkshakes were always pretty good but for some reason the owner doesn't seem to feel the need to fix it. Its been down for months now and its usually a great experience as long as the owner the older white gentleman isn't there he's a rude jerk. But food is good the owner just need to learn to treat people with respect!
