It's a small dining room, but you can call ahead to make a reservation. Note: you have to call 24 hours ahead. I visited during Stockton restaurant week and tried a few dishes. Food was delivered soon after we ordered. Their Dixieland crepe was delicious! The Rex just wasn't my style, but others in my party enjoyed it. I enjoyed their small side of potatoes for $1 but I'm not sure what the normal cost is, and I wouldn't pay much more than a dollar for them. They are simply fried diced potatoes, nothing special. The chairs aren't super comfortable, but if you don't plan to be there for hours (which you shouldn't) it should be fine. Overall a good place.
The wait was Around 15-20 minutes and we ordered as soon as the waiter gave us our water. The wait for the crepes was a bit long but good food. The king cake had interesting filling inside — it tasted like cream cheese!
The food is outstanding!!! There's no other way to describe it. The day we stopped by was a holiday, and we did have to wait quite a bit, but the server was very gracious.
Took awhile to be seated seemed there was only one waitress at the moment. The service and food was great. We forgot all about how long it took to be seated.
Great service with waiters/waitresses who are happy to go the extra step for you even if/when don't ask for it. Excellent food and great service are the reasons for my 5 stars... Only drawback: not open 24hrs...
great food & service, great little spot on the miracle mile. support local business!
Ask for Victoria, best service I've ever received. Heads up she's busy, but always attentive and gives great suggestions.
I had Midtown cater my husband's retirement party. The delivery was on time and had everything I needed. More important the food was fantastic. Had a lot of guest comment on how great it was. Would definitely use them again. Thank You Melissa for all your work.
Hadn't been in a few years.. it was still as yummy as I remember and we even talked with the owner Melissa. 😀 They are open to dine in our outside seating, masks required until you get to your table. Down side is everything is disposable. It was challenging to cut the crepes with plastic wear. Darn COvid messing with everything 😠
The honey mustard dressing was way too spicy. It diluted any other flavors. Also the salad only had lettuce, tomato and chicken
It's a good place to eat. We've decided Ben there from Tracy twice and tried a few things and it's not worth the drive. The food is good but not great. I would eat there if I lived in Stockton.
The location is great. The food tastes good. Unfortunately the place is starting to look a little run down. Time for a remodel or repair all broken or wore out furniture and flooring. Windows in the court yard need cleaning. Some ambient music outside would be nice.
Great food, very kind staff, regularly good vibes. They charge affordable pricing and the food quality is excellent. Fantastic work.
The food was excellent and the owner even better. She was extremely nice and made our visit great. Will definitely come by again when in the area.
My wife and I ate there for the first time while we were waiting for our car to be serviced. We thoroughly enjoyed the food and will definitely be back! It would have been a 5 star visit for us but we were outside to due the current situation and the flies out there were extra aggressive lol...so that affected our visit but no fault of Midtown Creperie & Café...service & food was excellent!!!
Beautiful place, delicious food, awesome mimosas. Awful that I have to drive 45 mins out of town to get there, but it's worth the trip. Everything was fabulous, can't wait to go back! Thank you!
The beignets were pretty good but honestly wasn't impressed by the food. I hate to say it seeing all the good reviews but honestly the best part of my meal was the sausage; not the crepes or pancakes. Pancakes were powdery tasting and crepes were rubbery if that makes sense. Hopefully that's not the norm here but I wasn't thoroughly impressed at all sadly.
Really fast service!!! I loved the bechamel sauce. I love veggies and will order extra veggies or add spinach next time so I can feel semi-healthy lol
It's so good here , I came here a lot before quarantine!!! It's good but I've never tasted the meat crepes only the sweet ones. Food is good, service is good, wait could be quite a bit it's a busy restaurant. Menu is limited during covid times and obvious dinning changes. Great kids menu! Parking could be a hassle on busy miracle mile.
