Featured in 2016 on Food Network's "Diners, Drive Ins, and Dives!" Located in Stockton's historic Miracle Mile shopping district, Midtown Creperie & Café brings a taste of the French Quarter, New Orleans to the Miracle Mile. Menu selections include savory & sweet crepes, beignets, chicory & espresso.
It's a small dining room, but you can call ahead to make a reservation. Note: you have to call 24 hours ahead. I visited during Stockton restaurant week and tried a few dishes. Food was delivered soon after we ordered. Their Dixieland crepe was delicious! The Rex just wasn't my style, but others in my party enjoyed it. I enjoyed their small side of potatoes for $1 but I'm not sure what the normal cost is, and I wouldn't pay much more than a dollar for them. They are simply fried diced potatoes, nothing special. The chairs aren't super comfortable, but if you don't plan to be there for hours (which you shouldn't) it should be fine. Overall a good place.
The wait was Around 15-20 minutes and we ordered as soon as the waiter gave us our water. The wait for the crepes was a bit long but good food. The king cake had interesting filling inside — it tasted like cream cheese!
The food is outstanding!!! There's no other way to describe it. The day we stopped by was a holiday, and we did have to wait quite a bit, but the server was very gracious.
Took awhile to be seated seemed there was only one waitress at the moment. The service and food was great. We forgot all about how long it took to be seated.
Great service with waiters/waitresses who are happy to go the extra step for you even if/when don't ask for it. Excellent food and great service are the reasons for my 5 stars... Only drawback: not open 24hrs...
great food & service, great little spot on the miracle mile. support local business!
Ask for Victoria, best service I've ever received. Heads up she's busy, but always attentive and gives great suggestions.
I had Midtown cater my husband's retirement party. The delivery was on time and had everything I needed. More important the food was fantastic. Had a lot of guest comment on how great it was. Would definitely use them again. Thank You Melissa for all your work.
Hadn't been in a few years.. it was still as yummy as I remember and we even talked with the owner Melissa. 😀 They are open to dine in our outside seating, masks required until you get to your table. Down side is everything is disposable. It was challenging to cut the crepes with plastic wear. Darn COvid messing with everything 😠
The honey mustard dressing was way too spicy. It diluted any other flavors. Also the salad only had lettuce, tomato and chicken
It's a good place to eat. We've decided Ben there from Tracy twice and tried a few things and it's not worth the drive. The food is good but not great. I would eat there if I lived in Stockton.
The location is great. The food tastes good. Unfortunately the place is starting to look a little run down. Time for a remodel or repair all broken or wore out furniture and flooring. Windows in the court yard need cleaning. Some ambient music outside would be nice.
Great food, very kind staff, regularly good vibes. They charge affordable pricing and the food quality is excellent. Fantastic work.
The food was excellent and the owner even better. She was extremely nice and made our visit great. Will definitely come by again when in the area.
My wife and I ate there for the first time while we were waiting for our car to be serviced. We thoroughly enjoyed the food and will definitely be back! It would have been a 5 star visit for us but we were outside to due the current situation and the flies out there were extra aggressive lol...so that affected our visit but no fault of Midtown Creperie & Café...service & food was excellent!!!
Beautiful place, delicious food, awesome mimosas. Awful that I have to drive 45 mins out of town to get there, but it's worth the trip. Everything was fabulous, can't wait to go back! Thank you!
The beignets were pretty good but honestly wasn't impressed by the food. I hate to say it seeing all the good reviews but honestly the best part of my meal was the sausage; not the crepes or pancakes. Pancakes were powdery tasting and crepes were rubbery if that makes sense. Hopefully that's not the norm here but I wasn't thoroughly impressed at all sadly.
Really fast service!!! I loved the bechamel sauce. I love veggies and will order extra veggies or add spinach next time so I can feel semi-healthy lol
It's so good here , I came here a lot before quarantine!!! It's good but I've never tasted the meat crepes only the sweet ones. Food is good, service is good, wait could be quite a bit it's a busy restaurant. Menu is limited during covid times and obvious dinning changes. Great kids menu! Parking could be a hassle on busy miracle mile.
The server was expectional I wish I remembered her name but I came in today around 11 am. The food was so delicious and the prices were good for how big the crepe was. 5 out of 5 definitely coming back here again. Ghirardelli coffee was delicious as well.
Wish I known about this spot when I was younger. Not that I had a chance to try it I never regretted going. Great food, great service, great crepe and atmosphere.
This is the first time that I've ever been here. I had been searching for a place that makes crepes. I was not disappointed- this place is amazing! I love the outdoor area with the painted walls and greenery- beautiful! I'll definitely be coming back with family/friends. Highly recommend.
This is the first time that I've ever been here. I had been searching for a place that makes crepes. I was not disappointed- this place is amazing! I love the outdoor area with the painted walls and greenery- beautiful! I'll definitely be coming back with family/friends, (when weather is warmer).
We all love crepes so we thought we'd give this place a try. So glad we did! Such a cute restaurant! Adorable patio area! We were lucky enough to be waited on by the owner herself. The service was excellent, the food was outstanding! Between the six of us we tried 3 different crepes, French toast, and two traditional breakfast plates.
Very friendly staff and great customer service. Unfortunately can't say the same about the pancakes and waffles. My pancakes were dry, and also tasted/smelled sour. Asked for a refund but was asked if I wanted something in exchange, so I picked a waffle. Unfortunately they use the same batter for both, and wasn't told this before picking the waffle. I was told that the reason for the sourness is because that's how the batter is? Would recommend ordering other items on the menu such as the crepes and omelettes.

Midtown Creperie Cafe has many different options on their menu such as savory crepes, sweet crepes, other foods that aren't crepes. The crepes are really delicious! If you don't like a lot of sweetness, I recommend not to get crepes under the "sweet crepes" section. I love that you can also sit outside and eat.
We enjoy going out. Yesterday we arrived in this superb restaurant which friends told us about. We had a delightful time there with great cooking and a courteous stuff and a professional chef. We added this fine restaurant in our phone list and we shall no doubt come back very soon. We deeply recommend.
My niece invited me to go to brunch yesterday at Midtown Creperie. I have heard of this place before but never had gone there. We were seated right away & our server was very friendly. I asked her for a recommendation on what to order. She recommended the strawberry crepe and wasn’t disappointed. It was delicious & the right amount to satisfy my appetite. My niece ordered a bacon, lettuce & tomato sandwich. The atmosphere was conducive to conversation since I haven’t seen my niece for a while. It was not noisy like some restaurants I have been to. Will look forward to go back to try some of the menu items.
I have never been a fan of crepes but Midtown Creperie Cafe has completely changed my mind. The food was excellent and the service what is the best. Highly recommend you go there
if I could give 10 stars I would. the staff is excellent. Amani is our favorite. she's there Saturday to Monday and is so personable. Melissa the owner is phenomenal. she goes above and beyond to make sure you're satisfied. I'm making my way through the menu starting with savory and I've yet to be disappointed. I go crazy on their mimosas! $15 for 3. and you can get very creative. Support a local business. If I'm hungry and they are open, we're there. #supportsmallbusiness
Amazing food!!! Brought our networking group and we were very pleased. We will definitely be back.
The outdoor seating is in a mural-covered alley which is super cool and different environment for dining. I had whichever crepe was labeled "as seen on Diners Drive-Ins and Dives" (can't remember the item name) and it was excellent: buckwheat crepe filled with asparagus and marinated tri-tip with pesto cream sauce. They seem to put a lot of attention into the little details of their food items
One of the best places in Stockton. Hands down, food is delicious, staff very friendly. I love this place 🤘
They have construction going on right now. So no indoor seating. Food was great, service just seems a little slow. I definitely feel like I spent more time waiting than I did eating lol. But they have vegetarian options and offer oat milk alternative. Definitely a cool~esque vibe 😎
There needs to be more distancing measures in place. Otherwise the food was great. Glad to see staff ware masks.
It was a nice little place. I have the Dixieland crape. It was good but wasn’t a wow factor.
Our first time and it was amazing. We will definitely be back. The owner treated us like family when we got there. That should say it all.
Arrived 12:25 PM, was not acknowledged until 12:31, left without even the drink I ordered at 12:43. Watched 8 other people come in and be served before I was. Unsure why, possibly my causal outfit or the fact that I am only 1 customer when parties were coming in. I had a work meeting to attend at 1 PM so I could not stay. I will give them another try on a day when I am not time-constrained, as that seems to be a common thread on the reviews here. Edit - 2nd Try today, August 16th 2021-- I was acknowledged immediately and seated 2 minutes after arrival and promptly greeted by Rebecca. I did deliberately dress down today to mimic the first visit, and I had my drink right away. The service was good. The food was good too. I am going to leave it at 4 stars cumulative from first visit and this one.
Updated review: I ordered the 7th Ward crepes (savory) which I was super excited about the salmon and sour creme. Turned put to be quite dry. My throat got a little scratched which was unexpected but that's what I risk for eating like a duck (not chewing enough). I let my server know and she hooked it up with something special to dress my crepes with. It was a wine sauce I think with pesto and that absolutely did the trick. I was able to enjoy the rest of my meal and I will be back again soon. I have been here at least 4 times in the last 2 years and it's a great spot for brunch, even hot chocolate solo sessions. When the weather is permitting I love sitting in the alley. Good 1st date spot too! Review back in 2020: (4 stars) Savory crepes are my fave and the mimosa options seem endless
