I ordered George's Omelet (hashbrowns, sourdough bread) and my other ordered the Meatloaf and the Ham and Cheese (to go). The food came right off the grill so it was very hot (soft warning on temperature!), but dining in it was fresh on the spot. Absolutely magnificent quality, as mine gave me an energy boost I don't feel often after meals. Thank you for your service!

Wow what an amazing local diner. The food was great & had some great options like spam & eggs. The owner Sam & the entire staff were very welcoming and engaged in genuine conversation with us. The food came fast and was not super expensive. We will definitely be returning. This is a MUST TRY!

Local, staple, family restaurant. Been wanting to eat here and finally made it a date. It was already full house by the time we arrived, but there was a table all set & waiting for us when we walked in, right on time, as more people came in right after us. We were warmly greeted and the ladies were cheerful & pleasant, as we were seated right away. Thank you! 🌷 My husband ordered a Belgian Waffle Combo and I ordered a Shortack Pancake Combo with over-medium eggs, 2 bacon, & 2 sausages. I was delighted when I received my order with a Mickey Mouse shaped pancake on top of the stack. Our server also happily added the Whipped Cream on top of the stack for me. It was very good & tasty pancakes. 👍🏽 The best I've had in town. My husband also enjoyed his Waffles. 👏🏽 I also noticed other dishes from neighboring customers. I will be bringing my Dad here to try their breakfast.

I ate here 3 ttimes, and all three times I experienced great customer service and hospitality and even better food all three times. I mostly ate American-style food so I cannot speak for the Chinese food served here but food was good.

This place has great service, delicious food, and amazing ambiance. Every 1st Saturday and Sunday of the month from 10am to1pm you get live music. This is our first time visiting Stockton and we picked an awesome breakfast spot! Dennis on the guitar made the time very enjoyable

Good place to stop by and have breakfast. They even have breakfast all day in case you're a night owl or go out partying and wake up later in the afternoon. The Belgian waffle with strawberries is my favorite. Looks and tastes amazing, you can order it by itself or with eggs and sausage/bacon. Highly recommended. There's plenty of food for every taste. You will find good people here, the place is clean.

Sams is legit. Good food. Good owner. Prices are where they should be. Quality is great. They accommodated our group. Food came out perfect. Its busy early but dies down around 1130. Eat local. This is the spot.

I like coming to Sam’s for great breakfast and very nice owner and staff. They treat u like family here and the food is always hot and delicious my son loves the fluffy pancakes with bacon and usually go all in with corned beef hash and potatoes with scrambled eggs and cheese and can’t forget the toast. Made to order and yummy every time.

Located on the Miracle Mile in Stockton. A small cozy place with good food, good conversation, and good service. They have a nice tasty fusion going on with their menu. They serve American food, and also Asian flavors. A small Mom and Pop ran by a couple of locals. This place will rival any big box breakfast location. The food was hot and well seasoned.

I had a great experience at this Cafe one Wednesday morning. The owner/operators were very friendly. The food was delicious. Crispy bacon and eggs over easy cooked perfectly. The hash browns were tasty and buttered toast. I spoke with Sam during and after my meal about life and the lengths we go to getting to work and back. He encouraged me to continue saving my money. It was a really wonderful meal.

We love Sam’s Cafe. It has American diner style breakfast and lunch food which never disappoints. They do most American breakfast staples. I think they used to also do Chinese food as well but I think as of recently it’s only American cuisine. They are very accommodating for children; we bring our nephews here and they love it. Sometimes they have live music inside which is a nice touch. Sam and his family are so sweet. So nice to see a family owned, community oriented business in town.

This really is a place that deserves 5 stars. The service at this restaurant is amazing. But the food is even better. Their pancakes are crispy but fluffy at the same time, absolute perfection. I also got the patty melt, and that was one of the best patty melts I've ever had. French toast was good as well. The kitchen staff just obviously knows how to cook very well. With everything we ordered it came out very fast as well so very great time management from the kitchen too. The only complaint I have is that the french fries i felt weren't crispy/cooked enough, and also beverage selection is a little limited, but other than that everything was perfect.

Great home in the wall! OMG! I was tickled watching the activity in the busy buzzing little place while I sat there waiting on my breakfast. I'll definitely go back. Seems mostly family run. The staff seem in Good moods, which is an indicator that they area happy. At least it seemed that way. The food portions are huge! The service was good everyone was friendly to me and most importantly the food was MARVELOUS! Total hole in the wall,but the food! I had a spinach, mushroom, cheese, bacon, tomatoes omelette. Wow. American potatoes with peppers in there mixed in. Yummy! Thanks Sam! I'm so happy I found you ! I'll be back!

We really liked our classic breakfasts. This place is so cute and the people that run it seem like really good folks. There are really cool pictures of old Stockton on the walls and the vibe of this joint is incredibly retro and classic, like a time machine. Reminds me of the diner in Gilmore girls. I want to be a regular here.

Passing through Stockton and I was looking for a breakfast place for my family to sit down and eat at. This is one of the first places to pop up on a quick search. Fantastic! Food was great and it has a nice old school cafe/diner feel while also being a relaxed atmosphere. I highly recommend if you are considering breakfast! I ordered the eggs and chorizo special with country potatoes. Yum!
