Celebrate Stockton Beer Week at the Haggin! Enjoy a drink from Ruhstaller Beer and an interesting talk, Beer: Why We Are Here with Charlie Bamforth. Bamforth will explain why beer is the most sophisticated adult beverage on the planet, why it saved the world, why it is healthier than wine and why it is what should be in your glass when you are enjoying any type of food (even breakfast in some places). His tongue will only be partly in his cheek!
Grab your friends or make it a date -- the Haggin is open every 1st & 3rd Thursday until 9 PM. Events vary each month with special guests, live music, wine and more!

This is an official Stockton Beer Week event! During Stockton Beer Week, various local breweries, bars, restaurants and other venues host events celebrating the culture of craft beer in our community. The annual 10-day event runs Friday, August 9 through Sunday, August 18, 2019, which raises awareness of the craft beer industry and promotes patronage at local establishments throughout Stockton. Over 20 participating locations will hold beer events like tap takeovers, specials, beer and food pairings, trivia nights, and even the 4th annual Brews & Shoes Showdown run! Don't miss the official kickoff event to Stockton Beer Week, Stockton Brew Fest, at Waterloo Gun & Bocce Club on August 10th.
