Developing Cultural Community of Care

We are so excited to bring this educational training to San Joaquin County. This will be our first of many Cultural Community of Care events.

This training will be presented by Clinical Psychologist Dr. Art Martinez. The training will help our community better understand and respond to cultural differences, and increase awareness of providers, community members, or anyone that interacts with the Native American community. Training will include Cultural Competency, Cultural Humility, and Trauma Informed Care, while exploring potential barriers for those receiving treatment or resources.

This will be available as a hybrid training session, in person seating will be limited to the first 35 people with lunch provided. For those unable to attend in person Zoom will also be available. Please share with your friends and family, and anyone that would benefit from this training.

If you are a medical provider, counselor, therapist, or clinician there will be training on Trauma Informed Care. This training is open to the community as well.
