INNER SAFARI Caregiver Appreciation Month Celebration and Pampering Parlor

Every Caregiver in San Joaquin County should attend this event. Why? Because BURN-OUT has now become a medical problem because Caregivers seldom get a chance to release stress, talk and be heard, be appreciated and pampered. This annual event is designed for Caregivers to decompress, interact with other Caregivers and focus on self-care and self-love. Every Caregiver has a different experience and subjects like sibling rivalry, being overwhelmed, fear and the roller coaster of emotions experienced by Caregivers will be the focus of the day. Self-care products and services supporting the care receiver will be there too. A Continental breakfast and a lunch will be provided. Today Caregivers are juggling many things, including working, taking care of their immediate family and caring for an aging parent or someone needing continuum care because of a chronic disease. Caregiving has impacted the workforce. Support of Caregivers has become a valuable employee benefit and a very needed and valuable asset to the community. Unfortunately, Caregivers often don't feel appreciated. If you have a Caregiver in your life, this is a great way to say, THANK YOU to him or her.

Business owners and/or company representatives should attend this event to understand the growing need for Family Caregivers and how it effects their work. This is a community affair. Everyone will be a Caregiver; need a Caregiver or wish they had one. Let's celebrate Caregivers as a Community! SHOW UP!
