Stockton Arts Week: Lost Sock Memorial Day

Imagine the heartache of losing your partner...your twin. Every year thousands of socks go missing in washers, dryers and otherwise, leaving their match behind in bewilderment and pain.

This day, Monday May 9, is National Lost Sock Memorial Day.

Bring one (or two) of your bereaved remaining socks and create a puppet in honor of the missing sock. We'll provide the decorations. You provide the love and labor.

And once you're done we'll take a photo and help you create and print a "MISSING SOCK" poster to take home or put up somewhere in Stockton. Never forget - remember the missing socks!
