The Conservatory of Music at University of the Pacific presents Pacific Jazz Festival.
Pacific Jazz Festival is an annual 2-day event, October 23-24. Jazz students, musicians and jazz music fans are invited for master classes and livestream performances with the conservatory faculty and our renowned guest-artists. Individual ($15) or group tickets ($50-$250) are available for purchase.

Patrick Langham Quintet
Saxophonist and Jazz educator Patrick Langham has been cited by Hrayr Attarian of All About Jazz as being “adept at playing blues, waltz, funk and fast paced bop with equal facility.” Currently serving as Professor of Music and Director of Jazz Studies at University of the Pacific, Langham is recognized for his versatility, sound, and storytelling lyricism.

Master Class with Lewis Nash
Lewis Nash is an American jazz drummer who, according to Modern Drummer magazine, has one of the longest discographies in jazz and has played on over 400 records, earning him the honor of Jazz's Most Valuable Player by the magazine in its May 2009 issue.

Michael Dease is one of the world's eminent trombonists, lending his versatile sound and signature improvisations to over 200 recordings and groups as diverse as Grammy winning artists David Sanborn, Christian McBride, Michel Camilo, and Alicia Keys.

Jamie Dubberly's Dharma Latin Jazz Sextet
The sextet was formed in 2008, released their first award winning CD "Road Warrior" in 2011. Several members of the band, including Dubberly, are a part of Grammy-winning Pacific Mambo Orchestra, and are active in the Bay Area's broad and diverse Latin music scene.
