Light up the Holidays with a musical variety show, “A Barrel of Laughs Holiday Hilarities,” along with a backstage comedy, “Scrooged Up!” playing at KUDOS Children’s Theatre in Stockton.
KUDOS’ holiday production is playing at KUDOS Children’s Theatre from November 15 through 17 at 6:00 p.m. and November 18 at 2:00 p.m. The two-hour production features Holiday jokes and sketch comedy, musical numbers, Christmas stories and a rendition of Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol” that will leave you in stitches. The cast includes 18 actors ages 9 to 18 years old and is directed by Ria Kroff.
“A Barrel of Laughs Holiday Hilarities” is arranged by Rob and Ria Kroff. Fill up your soul with season’s greetings and your belly with laughs a plenty when the cast performs Holiday jokes, sings carols, and tells stories like “The Gift of the Magi.”
“Scrooged Up!” by Dan Roberts is a backstage comedy that follows an acting troupe who wants to produce “A Christmas Carol,” but they don’t have enough actors to play the extraordinarily large number of parts. Watch how the final rehearsal invites one calamity after another!
