Unseen Labor
Overview
As part of a series of Women's Art Month take part in this experience at the Hatch Workshop.
What does it mean to be unseen? Who performs the essential, sustaining labor in our communities?
Unseen Labor explores these pressing questions through a powerful exhibition and performance series, celebrating the lived experiences of women whose contributions often go unrecognized.
Every Saturday in March at various locations in Stockton experience women in art.
Stockton is set to become a vibrant hub of feminist expression and artistic activism this March as International Women’s Art Month takes center stage. A collaboration between The Hatch, PREVAIL, The Huddle Event & Co-Working Space, San Joaquin Lion’s Club, In Season Garden Center, Stockton Art League, and The Margaret Troke Library, this month-long celebration unites the community through visual art, performances, and workshops. Each weekend will highlight diverse female-identifying artists and performers, fostering creativity, activism, and dialogue in honor of International Women's Day.
