Stockton's opportunity to showcase the impact of local entrepreneurs, small business owners, and those who support entrepreneurship. Join us May 1-7, 2022!
The first week of May is Stockton Small Business Week (SSBW), celebrating Stockton's resilient and vibrant small business community. SSBW is an effort led by the City of Stockton’s Economic Development Department and done in collaboration with various community partners. The week is filled with informational events to provide businesses with the different resources, programs, and networking opportunities available to help empower our entrepreneurs in Stockton. It is also an opportunity for the community to recognize small businesses' impact on our city.
Organizations and small businesses throughout the Stockton community are encouraged to join in this week of celebration. To view the latest list of events and for registration information, please visit the Stockton Small Business Week 2022 Facebook page. Stay engaged by checking out SSBW on Instagram for contests and other additional information during SSBW.
There are many ways small businesses and entrepreneurs can partake in the week-long celebration. To join in on SSBW, small businesses can:
Business service organizations, chambers, education institutions, etc.
Organizations interested in participating in SSBW by hosting an event that provides educational information or networking opportunities can submit an interest form. An event coordinator will review and follow up with any questions. Once the event is approved, the organization will receive a marketing packet and be included in the official SSBW promotional efforts. More information is available in the Call for Event Sponsorship interest form.
