There are a lot of benefits to living in California's San Joaquin Valley. One of the best reasons is the veritable bounty of fresh fruits, vegetables and other goodness grown here. You can experience that first hand at Market on the Mile, a gathering of some 40 different vendors showcasing a wide array of wonder every Wednesday from 5 to 8 pm in Stockton.
The market returned for 2021 on April 7, and it was great to see again after a long year. Located behind Whirlow's Tossed and Grilled, it's the perfect chance to explore some of Stockton's best offerings. Find farm-fresh products including Stockton's famous asparagus from Busalacchi Farms, Great Valley Eggs, Peavey Honey and Golden Acorn Meats. Satisfy your sweet tooth by visiting Sweet Treats Cookies, Judy GS Pastries, Maria's Heavenly Cakes or Sweets By Claudia. Throw in some art vendors, offerings from some of Stockton's best makers and live music, and you'll see why Market on the Mile is the place to be every Wednesday evening.
Be sure to stop by the Visit Stockton booth as well for the latest merch to help you show your Stockton pride, and to learn about the Stockton Taco Trail.
The market runs every Wednesday until October 27. Find it at 1926 Pacific Ave.
