Stockton Beer Week: Come Experience the Best Craft Beer in Stockton, California

If you enjoy craft beer, California is a good place to get your fix! Home to more than 680 craft breweries, the Golden State isn’t just making great suds, it’s celebrating them. And in Stockton, California that’s exactly what we’ll be doing when a new seasonal batch of local brews takes center stage during Stockton Beer Week in August!

Stockton Beer Week Brew Fest

As a kick off to Stockton Beer Week, Brew Fest gets the party started at the new park-like location, Waterloo Gun and Bocce Club on Saturday, August 10! Drink tasty beers from more than 30 breweries serving some of California’s most prolific craft names like Altamont Beer Works from Livermore, Dust Bowl Brewing Co from Turlock, Track 7 from Sacramento and of course, to name a few!

With over 100 different beers available, guests will enjoy live music by Darien Fields, Radical Times and Network, food trucks, vendors and games!

The best part about this event is the price of admission. General admission tickets are just $35 in advance (price goes up to $45 the day of the event); VIP tickets are $45 in advance and get you in an hour early! VIP Passes will not be sold at the door. Of course, this is a 21-and-up event, and designated drivers can get their tickets for $10 for assisting their fellow friends with a safe ride home. Come hang out with us on August 10 from 3-4 (VIP hour) and then general admission begins at 4pm! Get ticket information here!

Don’t miss this one-of-a-kind kick off event to Stockton Beer Week, where you can learn and experience more than just the taste of great beer in the Stockton region.

Beer: Why we are all here at The Haggin Museum

Enjoy a beer from Ruhstaller Beer and an interesting talk, Beer: Why We Are Here with Charlie Bamforth on Thursday, August 15 at 7 PM. Bamforth will explain why beer is the most sophisticated adult beverage on the planet, why it saved the world, why it is healthier than wine and why it is what should be in your glass when you are enjoying any type of food. So grab your friends or make it a night out with your special someone. The Stockton Beer Week event is part of the museum’s 1st & 3rd Thursday evening programming when the museum and museum store are open until 9 PM. Museum admission is $8 for adults and $7 for seniors.
