Stockton Beer Week is back for its 8th year! Starting August 9 and running through August 18, breweries, bars, and restaurants will be holding events celebrating the incredible boom of Northern California’s craft beer.
Tap takeovers, pub crawls, beer choir and a kick off festival are just some examples of how the 10-day event is celebrated throughout Stockton, California. Some require tickets and reservations, others are walk-ups where you pay at the bar.
One thing is for certain: There is something for everyone for this year’s Stockton Beer Week celebration, here are some recommendations to help you plan now:
There are plenty of ways to get in on the festivities in Downtown Stockton. Downtown will be buzzing with Empresso Coffeehouse's Open Mic Extravaganza along with events by Port City Bar & Grill, Deliberation Room, and any Stockton Beer Week fun in Downtown Stockton should involve checking out several events celebrating Stockton Beer Week.
The Miracle Mile is bursting at the seams with Stockton Beer Week Events!
Continue the fun with tap takeovers at Fat City Brew & BBQ by Device Brewing and Morgan Territory Brewing (also pouring at Brew Fest) celebrating Stockton Beer Week - this is a great opportunity to meet the beer reps and learn about their newest brewed beers coming to a restaurant or bar near you. Be sure to grab some giveaway goodies to complement your visit.
Get "hoppy" at Lincoln Center this Stockton Beer Week with lively events!
Now in its fifth year, Brews & Shoes Showdown by Fleet Feet Sports features an evening on the Brickwalk with beer, of course, and shoe vendors. You will walk or run through Lincoln Village, and then arrive back to continue the beer week festivities with even more games, Sierra Nevada Brewery beer (also pouring at Stockton Brew Fest), and raffle prizes.
If running is not your thing, beer and music always go hand-in-hand! You are sure to get "hoppy" to cold craft beer and a live music at Lincoln Center's SummerFest. This fun-filled event features two bands, the fun slide, chug-a-bug train and a beer garden at Midgley's Public House.
Pop over to America Waffles for beer pairing specials with multiple breweries attending Stockton Brew Fest, including Karl Strauss, Sierra Nevada, and Deschutes. Specials are available every day throughout the week so you can go multiple days and try the entire menu!
