Klein Family Field is the University of the Pacific’s (UOP) baseball field. It is a neat little ballpark to watch collegiate ball. UOP plays in the West Coast Conference. Go take yourself out to a ball game. The field is scenic and well kept, very green. The seating is stadium seating. Comfy. But the stadium seating area was not well kept. Not sure how often they clean the stadium between games. There were sunflower seeds scattered about the ground in sections 100 and 200. As I stepped on the layer of sun brittled shells, I could hear the audible crunch. But a bright side was that they have real restrooms which is a plus in my book. And they are well maintained. They also have a concession stand. However the food was pretty bad. The bottled water was served at room temp. The pretzel was rock hard. It came with a container of cheese sauce, the sauce was watered down and tasted as such. The hot dog was low quality tasting. Plus when I ordered the water, I did not know and was not asked about the size. They just automatically sold me the large. Ticket pricing is $12 general, $10 seniors, and $7 youth (5-17 yrs old) and they do not accept cash. They are a cashless operation. You can buy tickets online or at the ticket booth on game day. The parking lot is right across the street next to the ball field. Hop, skip and jump. Parking fees are not enforced on the weekends and after 5 pm on weekdays. When it is enforced, payment is by an app or through a website. So you gotta have a cell phone.
Great facility! Watched my first UOP baseball game here a few weeks ago. The field is meticulously kept and plenty of seating. They have a nice selection of food, snacks and cold beverages at the concession stand.
