The pizza was the best that I've ever had the sampler you have to get came with all kinds of goodies on it plus brisket it is one of the best I've ever experienced I came from San Jose and I wish San Jose had a place I would definitely recommend this place hands down like I said please get the soda and the beer was good
Update: Thursday, December 21, 2023 PM Here for the third time tonight. First, I would like to give kudos to our server, Kaitlyn‼️Awesome job. Even though they were slammed tonight, she took great care of us. Great and bubbly personality. Thank you! Consistency seems to be an issue here. The first time, everything was great we had a thin crust pizza which was good. It could’ve used a couple more minutes in the oven. The garlic bread with cheese was toasty and good. So we went back a second time which was not so good as you can see my update below. We forgot to mention thin crust for the pizza and we did not enjoy the thick crust (our fault). The garlic bread with cheese was Texas toast that was not toasted, with cheese that was barely melted on the top. Not good. So we went back tonight thinking we would fix those issues. We ordered the thin crust, well done. We ordered the garlic bread with cheese, well done. Garlic bread with cheese was mediocre. It was well done but I’m not sure I would order again. Initially they made the pizza with thick crust. Since we had ordered thin they had to remake it! The thin crust still a bit thick. Again, consistency is the key. We would love to have a repeat of the first time we ate here but somehow we can’t make it happen. ——————————— Update: Friday, December 8, 2023 PM Went here for dinner because we had a good experience last time. We ordered a large pizza half-and-half. We forgot to order thin crust like last time. The crust on the regular pizza is overwhelming for us. Too much crust around the edge with no topping on it. So next time it will be back to the thin crust. We also ordered the garlic bread with cheese since it was really good last time. This time it was not good at all. Seemed like it was rushed through the oven or the oven wasn’t hot enough because it was not toasty at all. It was like eating plain bread. I guess we have to specify how we want it next time. Eventually we will get this fine-tuned so everything is perfect. —————————- Pizza is very good. We ordered the thin crust but next time we’ll order it WELL DONE. There were parts of it that were still quite doughy and needed extra time in the oven. Don’t rush the cooking process !! They do pile quite a bit of ingredients on the pizzas! We had the garlic bread with mozzarella cheese. That was really good. Atmosphere is great. Service is excellent. Kudos to Miranda. She took extra good care of us! We just might have to return!
We ordered ahead of time for a pickup. Ordering over the phone was quick and easy. We had the Michael combo, All Meats, Cheese, and Pepperoni. Besides the cheese, the others were loaded with toppings. The Sampler Platter came with 12 wings, potato wedges and garlic bread [with or without cheese]. Pizza was good, but the crust was a bit much for me.
We went here for our granddaughters birthday party. The pizza was served hot and was delicious. It is a very popular place so it can be a bit noisy but it all adds to the party atmosphere. I highly recommend Michael's pizza!
Thought I would give this place a shot on Sunday afternoon. Took a while to get greeted after being seated, not a big deal, but service was struggling. Waitress was very sweet but obviously it was too busy for the 2 servers they had on. Ordered the Hawaiian. I can tell they use quality ingredients, that was good, but they use thick slices of ham to cover the pizza, then put diced pineapple on top. The issue with this is, the pineapple has no contact with the cheese, so it all falls off when you try to grab a slice which is kind of annoying. Decided to write a review so maybe they’ll see it, and consider dicing the ham so the pineapple can stick to the cheese? Also there was about an inch of cheese under all that ham, it was a little too much. Otherwise a good experience, will probably come back.
I enjoy the French dip and a beer. It's under $20, and it's so thick and good.
Still great food but not that family-friendly place it ones was. This is really expensive pizza, and too lose that experience will lose my family as customers. I'm sure the restaurant will make more off adding the bar, taking out the booths and the games, then they will off family its just sad to lose a nice family spot. Not the Michael's pizza I grew up with.
Nice convenient location. The pizza is OK, I have had better and the pizza is very pricey.. The sandwich dips didn't have much meat in it, mostly just bread.
Update: Sunday, January 14, 2023 PM They were very busy on a Sunday evening since the next day was MLK Holiday. Again, Kaitlyn took awesome care of us. Such a outgoing and bubbly personality. It was a pleasure. My son and I usually go half-and-half on a pizza or order a pizza and I’ll order something else. Tonight I agreed to eat whatever he ordered and he ordered pepperoni with olives. That sounded good but that’s where the story ends. I have never had such spicy pizza in my life…so strange. I think it was the pepperoni but it could’ve been the sauce too. It was actually unpleasant to eat since it left a burning sensation in my mouth after I ate it. I will never make that mistake again. I don’t know what kind of pizza they use but it was different than any pizza I’ve ever had before! NOTE: Michael’s offered to replace the PIZZA that we were unhappy with. This gesture is much appreciated. Thank you, Michael’s‼️ ———————- Update: Thursday, December 21, 2023 PM Here for the third time tonight. We’ve watched this place grow over the years and it’s fantastic. They have a full bar, full cafe and a pizza parlor all in one. Food and drinks are great. Lots of room!
Our first time coming here and it was pretty good. There pizza was delicious we got spicy Hawaiian, really good. We also tried there peanut butter mix drink special oh man that was good to! Great place to have some drinks, food and relax !
Best pizza out there. So many birthdays as a child spent there. I live in florida now and can't find any thing that comes close to you guys.
Michael's New York Style Pizza is a slice of heaven! Their pizzas are authentically delicious, with the perfect balance of crispy crust and gooey cheese. The menu offers a variety of toppings to suit every taste, and the friendly staff make you feel right at home.
First of all this place is always too bright!! Too many lights. Gives school cafeteria vibes. Other than that it’s a clean concrete floor pizza joint. Needs more parking too. Stick with a one or two topping pizza. The crust is good but they overdue the toppings on the specialty pizzas so the pizza doesn’t get fully cooked and it’s barely even warm. And as you can see the toppings are too far away from the edge. A lot of crust. For the price…. come on now smh…
Update 08/07/2022: Today's visit was a huge miss. Hubby and I visited for a quick lunch, but a huge party came in at the same time as we did, so it ended up being longer than we expected. It took a while for our lunch order to come out. I ordered the French dip with fries. The fries came out first. They were cold and were stuck together in clumps, making them unpleasant to eat. My sandwich was thin, maybe with 3 deli slices of roast beef and a slice of melted Swiss. It wasn't at all like the typical French dips I've had at other places. The sandwich was pressed together on what I assumed was a flat griddle as there were char marks all over my skinny sandwich. Hubby had a patty melt with potato wedges. The wedges arrived first. They were cut in big pieces and were hot inside, so they were good. His sandwich, however, was disappointing. The patty melt was cold and the sandwich didn't have any condiments whatsoever. He had to dip it in ranch or my au jus to get any flavor. Needless to say, we were not satisfied with today's visit. We're starting to learn that maybe the pizza is what we should stick to because it's usually very good. When an establishment has a lot of items on the menu, it's tough to make each entree perfect. Management needs to review its business model and pare down the menu to what they know is an excellent product (i.e., their great pizzas!), or continue to produce mediocre entrees that are hit and miss. Update July 2022: Had a great visit for lunch today. However, you need to be prepared to wait as they are understaffed. We waited a good 20 minutes before we even got our drink order in. Haven't been here in a while. I love the new layout as it gave the restaurant a modern feel. The bar and high-top tables look great. We got to watch the NFL wildcard game as there were abundant tv's around the dining room. The food was delicious. We had the family salad - fresh lettuce, shredded carrots, red cabbage, red and garbanzo beans, topped with lots of yummy croutons - served with lots of ranch dressing on the side. Then came the large sausage and mushroom pizza. It was loaded with toppings and the crust had a wonderful crunch, just the way I like it. Thank you for offering a deal through #StocktonRestaurantWeek! This re-introduced us to a Stockton gem 😍
