Update: we ate at Nena’s again and this time it was so disappointing. It was so loud and service was even slower. And the food was just okay. I ordered the same dish and the food quality was vastly different. Maybe they have different cooks. I’m not sure we’ll be back. The beans and rice were great. As was the veggie sope. Service was slow and our food came out at different times which was annoying. But everything tasted great.
Tried this Mexican spot for dinner with a couple friends and it ended up being a really good choice. The chips and salsa came out fresh, and the fajitas had plenty of flavor without being too heavy. Service was friendly and checked on us just enough without hovering. One thing I liked was that the portions were generous for the price. The place had a relaxed vibe and felt welcoming from the moment we walked in. My buddy ordered the tacos and wouldnt stop talking about them on the drive home. Definetly a place I'd come back to when I'm craving Mexican food.
