Fabulous! Where do I begin. The staff starting with Isadora who made my life so much easier. Traveling with dogs can be challenging but she made it seamless. The front desk guys were amazingly tolerant with me locking myself out. Even the maintenance people greeted me with a smile and hello. Clean rooms, lovely breakfast I’d live there if I could. 10 stars out of 5. Thank you one and all!
I’ve stay here for 6 mos and 3mos for work in the area. I have always felt safe, the suite was clean and spacious, the staff was friendly and personable. It has a nice pool, outdoor jacuzzi and a nice area to grill and sit by a fire pit. It’s also located in a quiet area of the city.
We got the 2 bd and it was perfect! We’re willing to pay for another night however, the room was unavailable for the second night. Prices are a little higher than The Courtyard next door, but it’s worth the extra. Didn’t wake up in time for breakfast, but you get a full kitchen with your room. Check out is at noon, so that was wonderful.
Employees were lovely; "business center" computer was deeply useless (I just wanted to print something and I had to email it to the front desk people, who were very kind and helpful about it but c'mon); breakfast was mediocre; rooms were unremarkable but fine.
Booked my Room the day prior to my visit from their Website on Friday for a Saturday check in.. I travel often, and have purchased many hotel rooms for myself and for my kids. I have mixed feelings about this Hotel.. the stay was Nice.. pool was nice accept we couldn't swim the last day of our visit because they spend over 2 hours cleaning the pool.. I consider that just bad luck. Not a knock on the hotel.. The one knock I have with my Stay is they set smoking/Ash tray trash Bins right out front of then entrance and at all times someone is standing right next to the door smoking.. if you're sensitive to smoke you'll have to smell the strong odor almost every time you come and go... even though California State law mandates smoking must be at least 20 feet from entrances and exits To me.. im not sensitive to smoke it was just more of an annoyance then anything I won't fault the hotel or staff just terrible placement of said ashtray... Rooms were nice well kept.. good overall experience that I would say I would definitely be back again until I call 2 days later about my bill... The first lady I spoke with was pleasant and helpful and couldn't answer a couple questions so she had someone call me back.. This call back is what why I will never stay at this hotel again... The Lady explained everything to me perfectly fine.. I had no issues with what she was saying... she did say they do not ever charge the card on file UNLESS you don't show up.. they will ALWAYS charge the card you put on file for a deposit against any damages and such.. This is something they should tell people because I very often purchase hotels for my kids when they travel but she basically told me I couldn't buy a hotel for my kids unless I'm there because they WILL ONLY charge the card Presented at check in.. Same goes if you travel for work.. many company cards these days are digital.. so when booking a room you use your digital card to book it.. and if you wanted to use a different card for accidentals and such YOU CANT that will be the card charged for full stay... This is the first time I have EVER heard this and I have booked hundreds and hundreds of hotels for myself and for my kids this has never been a policy I've heard of before... But thats neither here nor there I don't fault her for The apparent policy that I've never experienced before at other Marriotts but thats fine.. it was her attitude.. most unprofessional I have ever experienced being in the hospitality industry.. she talked over me... could tell she wanted me off the phone and got rude just for asking her questions.. Basically... if you have to book a room here for someone else or use 2 different cards you must book via third party website.. I know her information is wrong because I have stayed at many Marriotts and have never had this... they ALWAYS ask would u like to charge the card on file which is the card used to book the room OR the card used at check in.. I am writing corporate to get a verification on this.. and to let them know I travel working In the hospitality industry and the call backs are usually those with the most experience and most knowledgeable.. Very disappointed because the hotel was actually pleasant.. I would recommend if you don't have to deal with this lady and knowing that it doesn't matter if you pre book and want to use a diff5 card or if someone booked for you they're going to charge your card given at check in... as long as you understand that and not have to deal with this lady and not sensitive to smoke then stay here with confidence
I am an 88 year old woman recovering from hip surgery. My aptment was flooded and I was relocated here. It's so quiet and the bed is wonderful. I enjoy the little kitchen because it's easier with a walker. I have been treated so graciously that I wish I could stay here. I haven't tried the free breakfast because I think it might be awkward for me but I hear it's great. Thanks everyone. I'll be here 2 more weeks.
Nice place but there is nothing in walking distance for snack's. They have a good assortment in the lobby and the prices aren't too bad so I guess that gives them another start, A for effort.
My room at this hotel was one of the largest I've had at any hotel that I've been a guest of. The room was near the size and configuration of a standard studio apartment. Even came with a 15.0 cubic foot refrigerator freezer, large microwave oven, electric cooktop and pantry; and a 50" LCD 1080 P television with stereo audio which had multiple HDMI INPUT connectors so I could easily connect and use my MICRO FORM FACTOR PC, LAPTOP and TABLET for viewing and listening to my own personal choice of audio/video entertainment. And the Wi-Fi was excellent for any hotel, motel holiday inn... a blistering 90MBPS DOWNLOAD x 90MBPS UPLOAD, so no problem web surfing, browsing and streaming all day and all night! And their house cleaning staff actually cleaned the rooms every day without having to be asked to do so! So if I could, I would give this establishment a well earned "10 **********" Stars!!! You Go Residence Inn!!!
Good and clean. Expensive $$$$ was in dubai didnt even pay this much. But in stockton pay for good! Nicole at front desk great manager. Breakfast during week was week, better on weekend. Seems like lots of people live here, not an issue. Playing loud music by pool after 10 but doesnt disturb anyone. Its good but way too expensive but inflation now thanks joe

Hotel could use a desperate cleaning. Rooms aren't bad but you need to make sure your door shuts. It gets stuck and you need to yank it shut. I don't recommend walking the area at night.
This is another nice hotel in Stockton. Great for long stays. Lots of amenities. Rooms are nice and clean and the hotel is in proper order.
Slept well, but fold out couch for my daughter was old, squeaky springs, smelly sheets and covers, older building, slow noisy elevator, and breakfast wasn't great. Specifically the biscuits were hard and the melons in the fresh cut fruit wasn't ripe. Daughters did like the fruit loops cereal. Two bedroom suite was spacious, but the bathroom light/fans were loud. Shower water pressure was excellent.
Judith at Registration is such a nice lady and made us feel very welcome. The breakfast was probably the best one I've had at a hotel for free. So many choices and everything tasted great. The location is perfect for what we needed. Thank you for a great stay in Stockton.
We arrived later in the evening but the front desk staff was super welcoming and upon noticing we were traveling with children offered us an upgraded room. Our room was very spacious with a kitchen, living room, and two separate bedrooms/baths. My kids really enjoyed the daily breakfast with fresh waffles. Overall, it's apparent that the hotel is a bit dated (hallways & stairways) but the rooms seem to be updated and are very comfortable. I wish they offered a larger bed option. Staff was very helpful.
If you value certain amenities at the hotel, call the hotel directly to confirm before booking. The website and a Marriott rep who claimed to have an up-to-date list of available amenities were both wrong. The breakfast in particular was a big disappointment, and the fitness center and pool were unavailable. Several guests and a staff member were careless about covid safeguards like mask-wearing.
It's comfortable, the staff their is pleasant and understanding. I absolutely love this place! 👍
Awesome service! Nicole was so kind and helpful! Clean rooms and good breakfast.
I stayed here for 3 weeks and while staying here the staff was very nice and housekeeping came by everyday to ask if you needed anything. The place is very well kept.
We had the best stay on our way to Oregon. They do special little touches that we noticed like popcorn in the room and a Scrub Daddy sponge 😀 The room was so clean and I loved the extra touches to ensure sanitization. Also loved that there were hand sanitizer stations at main points. Breakfast was easy to grab and go. We loved it so much we stayed here again on our way back!
I ome here yearly at least and it was not the same...there were very little Christmas spirit. Not to mention no hot chocolate by the fireplace...and my favorite room was booked. Staff was nice as always. Maybe next year will be different.
My stay was quiet and peaceful. I asked for a first floor room near the entrance and the request was granted. The room was clean and well appointed. The parking lot was full but I didn't hear a peep from my neighbors until the next morning when we all were leaving. The staff was friendly and helpful. This reccomen
I love residence inn no matter where I travel to. This one in particular the ladies were very kind.
Clean, friendly staff, nice suite layout. Most uncomfortable hard couch I've ever sat on. I hate pork smell and taste. They cooked their egg fritada in lard. Making it inedible.
This place was the best stay ever. I am now a new employee with marriott at the Fairfield Inn & Suites out in lodi CA. So I look forward to staying at the Residence Inn again.
Very nice place to stay, rooms are very clean even got an upgrade without asking the staff was exceptional. Parking was a little tight do to upgrading the rooms but made it work. If we are ever back in Stockton definitely would stay at this place again.
quiet and the first Marriott Hotel with a hot breakfast. thank you . man what a difference breakfast does to a hotel stay.
Loved this place very clean , nice small breakfast in the am good coffee ☕ nice friendly staff provided extra pillows and towels no problem 😍
I had a 2 bdrm and it was beyond fantastic. The kitchen may have been on the smaller side but it had everything I needed to make dinner for my kids. My kids loved the pullout couch too. I'll definitely be back my next visit it really is a hidden gem in Stockton
Loved it, the girls at the front desk or awesome. Always there to help. Rooms and facility was very clean. Really enjoyed our stay.
We had some issues regarding billing, the staff did a wonderful job handling our concerns and issues. We couldn't be more grateful and appreciative for their empathy and clear communication throughout the process. I applaud the staff and management for their professionalism, interpersonal skills, and empathy.
Nice rooms and pretty location. However some of the facilities are closed like the hot tub and this is not noted on the website. Happy it's pet-friendly but there were no dog bags available. And, there were no linens in the room for the pull out sofa bed. It's the little things you come to expect from a chain like Marriott, and the reason you pick them over Motel 6 when you just need a room for a night.
