Overview
Located in Lodi CA, Spenker Family Farm is home to Spenker Winery, est. 1994, and a brand-new Grade A Goat Dairy. We make WINE AND CHEESE right here on the farm. Our products are hand-crafted. The wines are made exclusively from our estate grown, hand harvested, certified sustainable grapes. And the creamery makes small-batch, fresh cheeses from the milk of our own dairy goats.
Since everything is made right here, visitors to the farm get to see the process behind the delicious food. You can see the silly goats, watch cheese being made, and picnic under the trees by the peaceful vineyard.
We’re a boutique, family-run farm. Look for the big red barns set back in the vineyard.

Out of three wineries, this is my favorite. Baby goats, goat cheese and wine tasting - how can you miss. Cheeses are amazing. Don't miss the bleating babies outside.
My favorite place for a unique Friday night. I got to know them during Lodi wine and chocolate festival and came back for family night and adult night. They also do goat yoga, yet to experience for me. During family night you get to spend time cuddling baby goats and the night ends with milk and cookies 🍪 Adult night comes with small bites and wine tasting. It’s such a fun time, I keep coming back. See calendar on their website for the next events
Some of the best goat cheese I've ever had, and the service was super friendly. But don't bother with the wine, it's crap.
What a fun place recommended in yelp and Google. They have delightful winery and cheese pairings. Skip the blue lake winery as they don't really help customers experience tastings and they lie about review comments. Try out Spenker for a fun time with sweet staff, silly goats, and yummy tastings.
As someone who's worked with goats for most of my life, I can confidently say that these are some healthy and happy goats. Lots and love and care is given to each goat, and their well being is taken very seriously. Each one is individually observed for potential health or behavior problems, and even their individual grain intake during milking is adjusted for things like their weight or if they need additional dietary supplements. I know first hand what a bad dairy looks like. This is not one of them.
