Overview
Founded in 1950, Stockton Civic Theatre entertains local audiences with world-class performances of Broadway's favorite musicals and plays. The SCT mission is to provide Broadway quality live entertainment and arts education programs to the residents of California's great Central Valley. SCT produces 5 shows a year, and 3 Black Box shows. The TALENT at these shows is amazing. I have seen 20+ shows that have ranged from very good to AMAZING! They also have specialty cocktails that conpliment the shows and terrific cookies. My only regret is that I can give them only 5 stars.
Such fun, smart, creative, powerful, and moving performances! Every seat is a great seat! Concession drinks are unique to each performance along with candy and snacks. Love every visit!

I had never really been interested in theater before taking my college course on drama. My professor required us to watch four live performances and write reviews based on the costume design, the set, and the director. I was honestly shocked and excited when I realized just how talented all of the people at the Stockton Civic Theatre are. Every performance I’ve seen this year has been absolutely amazing. I really enjoy going, my family now also plans on attending with me! I’m honestly so glad I took this drama class, if not I would have never known that I was missing out!
