I travel for business and eat at Indian restaurants in every town I visit. I also live in Las Vegas and we have a ton of Indian restaurants. This was up there with the best. The food was excellent. The portions were big and prices were better than most. Can’t wait to come back. Try this place. Trust me. Well worth you time.
Came for the lunch buffet. Good variety of dishes. Meat mostly chicken and one goat. Chicken dishes: tandoori, butter, curry, and chilli. Curry chicken was ok but meat a bit over cooked and had almost a canned texture. The goat had better flavor but a lot of grisle and bones. Tandoori was a bit dry and not much flavor. Chilli had a very strong pineapple flavor and was too sweet ( very similar to an asian sweet and sour chicken). Non meat: mixed veg pakora was good, mushroom masala didn't care for. Broccoli masala was better. Another spicy masala that was good. No biryani. Naan ok, maybe slightly undercooked. Service was good; they kept our water glasses full, and dirty plates were picked up quickly. Overall the ingredient quality of the dishes was average, but liked the wide variety of dishes to choose from, and attentive service
Quiet place with excellent food. We always get the buffet, but they are very good about clearing off used plates and refilling sodas. They need better advertising!
This is my honest review. We have been visiting Stockton from past 2 years. But This is the first time we came in here. Such a beautiful place with warm smiles and good service . Talking about food , Trust me, ONE OF THE BEST INDIAN FOOD SO FARR. Especially Egg Plant Masala is too good . Must visit if you are missing Indian family food. Will come back for sure.
Swagat Indian Cuisine is truly a hidden gem! The food was incredibly flavorful, fresh, and authentic—every dish we tried was absolutely delicious. Their buffet was also impressive, offering a great variety of dishes that were well-prepared and constantly refreshed. The service was top-notch; the staff was friendly, attentive, and made us feel so welcome. You can really tell they care about their customers and take pride in what they do. Highly recommend this spot if you’re craving quality Indian food, a great buffet, and genuine hospitality!
