Tacos Chapala
Overview
This local Mexican restaurant is one of the best in town. Tucked away in the corner of a shopping center off of Hammer Lane this spot is always busy. The el pastor tacos and tortas are delicious! You can even stand to the side of the ordering line and peak over the counter and watch as they make your meal. Load up on all the different types of salsa at the salsa bar while you wait for your food to be ready and find a seat in the restaurant to enjoy your meal.

REAL AUTHENTIC FOOD! Just had this place (3 tacos of tripas) all I gotta say there’s a lot of flavor in the food & the salsa is very strong and ton of options. They’re not watered down like other restaurants and would definitely be coming back again!
Tacos Chapala is by far my favorite place to eat tacos, great quality of meat, tasty food and I love the variety of salsas, but besides of the delicious tacos the servers are very nice specially Arahi, this girl is very nice, polite and respectful. I feel welcome when she is at the cashier or bringing my food to the table with a big smile. She really makes a better atmosphere in the restaurant.
It was just minutes before closing, but they took my order without hesitation. The quality here reminds me of SoCal Mexican food — authentic, flavorful, and absolutely 🔥🔥🔥. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the staff are incredibly polite. They’re generous with condiments, too! Definitely money well spent.
Excellent tacos, I like the crispy tacos. I wish the sauce station had labels with ingredients. I have an odd allergy to avocado so I have to be careful when I see green, but I wanted to try the green sauces. I'm sure they weren't all avocado
