When I went they ran out of bread for sandwiches which sucked but I got Chinese BBQ pork bun instead and that was so good
The BBQ pork banh mi sandwiches are really good. They are more on the small side. Definitely can eat two. The pork spring rolls are delicious. They are the perfect salad to eat like a burrito. One pack comes with two. Very filling. Also, the vermicelli BBQ pork meal #22 is delicious!! My favourite! Perfect amount of food. The egg rolls are delicious. They are all good. I can't resist them must eat at least two.
Found a great banh mi spot! The bread is crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and easy on the teeth. The coconut waffle is lightly crisp, not overly rich, and delicious even without toppings. Prices are very affordable. Long Review: I found a great banh mi place. Usually, I avoid banh mi because the bread tends to be too hard, making me worry about my teeth. However, the bread here is perfectly crisp on the outside, soft and tender inside, and completely worry-free for my teeth. The flavor and texture are excellent. The coconut waffle is also pleasantly crisp, not too greasy, and tasty even without any toppings. The inside is green, likely from using matcha. Overall, the prices are extremely affordable. There’s no dine-in space, the atmosphere isn’t great, and the neighborhood doesn’t really invite a leisurely stroll, but given the outstanding texture, flavor, and low prices, I’d rate it at least 4.5 stars.
Maybe I'm being critical because I'm comparing their food to places like Duc Hoang in San Jose, Banh Mi Balle in Oakland, and Pho Fresh in Rancho Cordova. Take their beef alone. Not as well Marinated and not flame grilled. Sandwiches are affordable but small. And it's cut into strips. Weird
The food is very yummy for the price. We came around 1:30 and they were sold out of the sandwiches shortly after we ordered. The place is quite small, no seating but it's clean. The coffee is very good, and the grilled pork banh mi (#6) is tasty. The pickled vegetables and the meat make it very tasty. Heads up, they use peanuts in certain sandwiches.
