Winchester's Restaurant
Overview
Winchester's is the place to grab a bite and a drink! Enjoy a cocktail and a ribeye steak dinner, sandwich, philly cheesesteak, chicken fried steak, and more. The steaks are amazing and so big they fill up the entire plate! If you order the philly cheesesteak be prepared to share with a friend or take a box to go. That juicy meal is overflowing with meat.
Locals know this little hole in the wall as the perfect spot to meet up with friends after work for a great time and good meal. It's the hang out spot in town that you'll always see someone you know. Cheers!

Visited here for the first time for a BNI Mixer on 12/2/25. The lounge was nicely low lit, warm and inviting. Plenty of seating. Clean and smelled good inside. The food was AMAZING and the bartender make greta drinks and was friendly. Plenty of parking. Nice spot. Highly recommended.
Really cool place and the atmosphere was awesome. The cook at the bar was a awesome person.
Edited: I mentioned come with money, but not because of the price of the steak sandwich. I believe that was a great price and was willing to pay the dinner price of $21.50 until the server changed it to the lunch price of $19.50. I think that overshadowed my whole review. As I mentioned below,my only real complaint was no salt on the fries. Now, as for why I mentioned bring money, is because this is a place you WANT to hang out. Staff was incredibly nice and very helpful. I do think Carlos takes it too personally, 😉. But when you are passionate about food, most cooks/chefs do. But always be open to criticism. Even if they are wrong. Because remember,in the end it all comes down to personal preference. I definitely will be in again for another sandwich, and those tacos I missed that day. In the end, I just do wish to apologize if it looked like I meant the steak sandwich was expensive. Not even close. Especially since you get a bunch of fries, (crinkle my favorite) and sour twist candy's. BONUS! Thank you again, for a great sandwich and friendly, helpful service. I stopped in because a food reviewer reviewed another place for a rib eye sandwich, claiming theirs were the best In town. Friendly staff. Great vibes. But, definitely come with money. It was 19.50 out the door for the sandwich and a load of crinkle cut fries. Unfortunately, the fries were not salted. Blasphemy... That almost ruined the dish. The server asked if I wanted ketchup or ranch, but I declined. (Technically not knowing if that was an extra charge...) But mainly because fries shouldn't need anything but salt, pepper too but that's another story. The steak was delicious. Served on garlic, or butter toast. The steak was approximately 1/2 thick before cooking. I didn't get a choice of how I wanted it cooked. But luckily it came out med-rare. It also sat in the box while I ordered the sandwich from the other place and they had issues so it was in the box for at least 30 minutes. The fries were eaten while driving to the second location. Which was good, because the oil they were fried in made them hard and almost inedible when they got cold. Yes, there were a lot of fries, my son and I both ate them. What set this apart from the sandwich at Ernie's Gas station is it was the whole steak, and Ernie's asked what temperature but cuts the meat up making it lose that temperature. But does make it easier to eat without needing to prep before eating. But it was just the sandwich for $14.99, we got for $12.99 because of the wait for the technical issue they had. But Winn's does give sour candy as a treat with the sandwich which was super cool. All in all, it is a great place and good food. But, as I said. On a budget this could be a one and done or on occasions. But if you are retired and comfy and need a place to hang out. This is the place. Locals at the bar, and staff is warming to new customers. The only reason the food didn't get 5 stars was the absence of salt on the fries. The sandwich was incredibly good. The best🤔. Well. You decide yourself it is all about personal preference.
There's 2 Pool tables, that's what brought me to the place. Anyone who's amused playing will find a friendly atmosphere with proficient fans of the game. I am looking forward to try the food, (my odd schedule!🙃) but rumors say is a most have. Full bar. I found that " locals kind of place" ambience, friendly & welcoming that over 21 yo people enjoy on a Friday night. Plenty of parking.
