4th Annual High Five For Teachers 5K
Overview
4th Annual High Five For Teachers 5K
Have you ever encountered a teacher who profoundly impacted your life? The High Five For Teachers 5K is an initiative that sprang from the vision of a dedicated educator in Stockton, California, during the height of distance learning. This period was marked by significant mental exhaustion and burnout among teachers. Recognizing the need for a reprieve, Isaiah Stowers, a science teacher within the Lodi Unified School District, proposed an idea. He suggested that he and his colleagues should step away from the endless Zoom calls, immerse themselves in the outdoors, and take a moment to breathe in some fresh air.
There will be a raffle for teachers, and one lucky winner will have a special item donated to their classroom!
Come walk, run or stroll with the little ones in this great family friendly event! Free for all kids 13 and under, $45 for adults.
