Join us at the Goodwin Gallery for a FREE monthly Artist Reception.
This Month we celebrate our Thursday Art Group! The Thursday workshops began in 2017 when about five dedicated artists were gathering once a month at each other’s houses to work on their art projects. Meeting at homes proved somewhat difficult, and it happened that the Goodwin Gallery had been hosting a workshop that had recently disbanded. After making inquiries, the artists were invited to meet at the gallery on Thursdays from 10:00 am-12:00 pm each week, and the workshop would be open to all newcomers.
The group has grown significantly since then. They have lost some of their members, gained many new ones, and have kept three of the original artists. The members continue to get together on Thursdays to work on their art projects, to chat, motivate, critique, and exchange ideas. Representing many diverse areas of the art world, artists share their experiences, humor and congeniality.
