Exhibit Reads: The Arts and the Creation of Mind
Admission
Overview
Discover the power of creativity and learning in our next Exhibit Reads selection, The Arts and the Creation of Mind by renowned educator Elliot W. Eisner. In this inspiring book, Eisner explores how the arts nurture imagination, problem-solving, and emotional intelligence, skills essential to how we think, learn, and grow.
Presented in conjunction with the 95th Annual Robert T. McKee Student Art Exhibition, the nation’s longest-running museum-sponsored student art show, this program celebrates the young artists whose creativity continues to shape our community. Together, we will reflect on nearly a century of student expression and consider how art builds minds, confidence, and connection across generations.
Join us on Saturday, February 28th, from 1:00 to 2:00 PM for an engaging discussion on art, learning, and the transformative power of imagination. Copies of the book are available in the Museum Store.
