The Catalyst Arts & Wellness Studio is celebrating Frida Kahlo's birthday on July 11th.
Frida Kahlo is a renowned Mexican artist who is globally loved for creating art that reflects her pain/life struggles & her love for her culture. Frida was bold & authentic. She is an inspiration to us all! Her birthday was on July 6, 1907.
Please join us on July 11, 2025, at 7PM for the showing of the Frida (2002 film), a biographical film directed by Julie Taymor; the movie is R rated & it’s for mature audiences only (ages 17 & up).
Doors will open at 6:30PM! This is a Free Community Event. We strongly encourage for people to dress up to honor Frida’s distinctive style!
Lastly, we are collecting cigar boxes & art supplies for our upcoming Dia De Los Muertos Altar Making Workshop in October 2025, we would greatly appreciate any donations! Thank you.
