Overview
Join us for a heartwarming evening as we bring the beloved film Secondhand Lions to the big screen at the historic Bob Hope Theatre in downtown Stockton.
Starring Michael Caine, Robert Duvall, and Haley Joel Osment, this timeless family favorite follows the coming-of-age story of a young boy who spends a summer with his eccentric uncles in Texas—discovering adventure, wisdom, and the true meaning of family along the way.
Experience this classic movie in the grandeur of the beautifully restored Bob Hope Theatre, where every film feels like an event. Whether you’re reliving a favorite or seeing it for the first time, Secondhand Lions is a story that will stay with you long after the credits roll.
Doors open on Sunday at 1 PM with entertainment in the lobby. The live Robert Morton Organ concert begins at 1:30 PM, and the film starts at 2 PM. Tickets are available online now or at the theatre when doors open.
The Friends of the Fox is a volunteer, non-profit organization offering a monthly classic movie experience at the Bob Hope Fox Theatre. Founded in 1995, the Friends of the Fox supported the restoration of the Theatre through significant fundraising efforts. Nearly 30 years later, the organization continues to promote the Theatre as an integral part of the Stockton community and the “Crown Jewel” of downtown Stockton.
