Overview

Stockton Civic Theatre Jr presents James and the Giant Peach. A beloved children's tale that follows the adventures of James, a boy forced to live with his cruel aunts. He discovers an enormous enchanted peach and makes friends with a spider, centipede, a ladybug and a grasshopper. After rolling into the sea inside the giant fruit the group sets sail for New York City.

Stockton Civic Theatre’s SCT Junior Summer Youth Program provides high-quality arts education opportunities that cultivate creativity, community, and artistic growth for students. Annually SCT Junior Stage puts on a production for young artists interested in acting, singing, and dancing. SCT Junior Crew allows young artists interested in stagecraft, design, and construction of sets, props, and costumes to create the show. Both culminate in the production of a full-scale musical.
